The CSUC’s commitment to accessibility

The tdx.cat website has been built with the aim of facilitating universal access to all people who consult it, regardless of their physical, sensory and intellectual abilities, and the technical context in which they use it (device type, software, connection speed, environmental conditions, etc.).

Therefore, we are working to adapt the entire website to the recommendations of the World Wide Web W3C Consortium in order to remove the barriers that hinder access to information and communication. These recommendations are specified in the accessibility guidelines of the WCAG 2.1 website.

The CSUC's commitment is to meet the Triple AAA level of compliance, as required by public administrations in European and state legislation.

Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 lays down the rules required of Member States to ensure that all public sector websites and mobile applications, regardless of the device used to access them, meet the accessibility requirements set out in standard EN 301 549 v2.1.2 (August 2018), of adequate accessibility requirements for the public procurement of ICT products and services in Europe.

The standard EN 301 549 v2.1.1.2 is mainly based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), of August 2018. Specifically, the AA level must be met. However, the standard also has other additional, mandatory, and conditional requirements.

The directive is mandatory but not directly applicable. That is why a real decree has been developed at the state level that develops
