A university means knowledge, research and knowledge transfer. At UIC Barcelona we dedicate our time and effort to learning for the purpose of changing the world. Christian humanism inspires us to search for the truth, and we do so by undertaking research in all areas of knowledge. We seek knowledge that brings us closer to the questions that lie at the heart of everything. Research is one of the main priorities for our teaching staff. They dedicate their time to research and teaching people to become free, to make good judgements, to be able to produce new ideas and utilise the main sources of knowledge: observation, experimentation, and inductive and deductive reasoning. This constitutes the research spirit at UIC Barcelona.
