Abstract

The interaction builds humanity. It is the most human of us; Our social life is based on it. Interacting leads us to design objects that facilitate communication, understanding with other humans and understanding our environment. To interact with the outside and form a body in continuous transformation and expression with the community we need the conscience of the world. Hands have been the main tools in our body to apprehend and abstract a universe of ideal forms. Its sensory capacity allows a leap of con- fidence and awareness of the world that helps us interact with it: we begin to create, build, draw, model, to express ourselves as an individual. With them we have learned to build artifacts for the action of new functions that end up transforming man and the environment in which they live. On this background of representation, and after thousands of years of evolution, the flint of the first primitive tools has given way to the silicon of new technologies. In the 21st century, digital and electronic occupies and is an integral part of our body and mind, as much as our hands were at the origin of our human development. These new technologies have been incarnated to form an added layer in our psyche: they remain linked to the dermis in an intimate, permanent way, taking control of our body, the environment in which we live and the way we socialize. This thesis deals with how the interaction enhanced by new technologies has reorganized the subject on three scales: (1) in his own being and the body he occupies, (2) in the space in which he lives and (3) in space public where it relates. These domains give rise to the title and organiza- tion of a thesis that advocates an origin of architecture in the interaction and that analyzes and questions the impact of new technologies in a scenario where communication networks, instead of connecting us, are alienating the man and abandoning him in the solitude of virtual spaces that have nothing to do with the physical spaces of interaction and domestic socialization, nor with the cities.
